Meet Sheldon
Meet Sheldon Morris, LCSW.
For more than twenty years, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life's challenges. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel understood while developing practical tools for lasting change.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University and am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in both New York and New Jersey. Throughout my career, I've worked in outpatient mental health clinics, private practice, and as a High School Guidance Counselor.
My work is grounded in evidence-based treatment. I have extensive training in the treatment of anxiety, OCD, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Beck Institute as well as advanced DBT training with Dr. Marsha Linehan, Dr. Alec Miller, and Dr. Jill Rathus. Every client is different, so I tailor treatment to meet each person's unique needs and goals.
Outside the office, I'm grateful to be married for over twenty years and to be the father of six wonderful children. I enjoy running, spending time outdoors, barbecuing, and spending time with my family.
