Sheldon Morris, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has worked professionally with youth, adolescents, and young adults for over 20 years.  He attended Rutgers School of Social Work where he received his MSW and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New York and New Jersey. 

Sheldon's clinical training consisted of diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases as a Psychotherapist in Mental Health Clinics in both New York and New Jersey before shifting to start his own practice .  He is regularly involved in treating cases ranging from couples therapy to extensive work with at risk behaviors, substance use, and suicidality.  Sheldon's work experience also includes his role as Guidance Counselor in a Private High School in New Jersey.  He has received extensive training in the treatment of Anxiety and OCD, and has been trained by the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy in treating depression and anxiety.   

 

Sheldon is blessed to be happily married for close to 20 years and is a proud father of 6 children.  His hobbies and interests include running, barbequing, enjoying the outdoors, connecting to his religious values, and spending time with his family.  He is passionate about what he does, and feels grateful to have the opportunity to be in a profession of helping others.
